On April 19th, 2024, we celebrated the second collaborative online seminar organized by SNAC together with the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs (Socialdepartementet). Sölve Elmståhl, Professor in Geriatrics from Lund University and PI of SNAC-GÅS, presented his work on loneliness and social isolation in the elderly, as well as their research on informal caregivers’ perspectives, based on data from the project Good Aging in Skåne (SNAC-GÅS). More than 20 people attended the seminar, where important input was provided for the prevention of loneliness and caregiver burden in old age.
