On December 6, 2024, we celebrated the third collaborative online seminar organized by SNAC in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs (Socialdepartementet). Amaia Calderón-Larrañaga, Associate Professor at the Aging Research Center of Karolinska Institutet and co-PI of SNAC-K, presented her work on the development and validation of the Health Assessment Tool (HAT). This work is based on data from the four SNAC sites as well as older patients from primary care. Over 15 participants attended the seminar, engaging in meaningful discussions about the urgent need for improved understanding and responses to older people’s healthcare needs, and how collaboration between SNAC and Socialdepartementet can support these efforts.
